Ultrasonic Cavitation
& Venus Legacy 4D Lipolysis —
Targeted Fat Removal in London.
Safely break down stubborn fat cells using ultrasonic cavitation alongside Venus Legacy 4D Lipolysis — combined with radio frequency for skin tightening and the nutrition guidance that protects your results.
What cavitation is — and what to expect.
What it is
Ultrasonic cavitation at Freeda Body Contour Clinic uses low-frequency sound waves (30–40 kHz) to break down the membranes of fat cells in targeted areas, with the released fatty acids cleared through the liver and lymphatic system over 7–14 days. We pair cavitation with Venus Legacy 4D Lipolysis (multi-polar RF + pulsed magnetic fields + VariPulse vacuum) and radio frequency skin tightening so fat reduction and skin retraction happen together. For clearly defined stubborn pockets we add CoolShaping2 cryolipolysis fat freeze.
Who it's for
Best for clients within 5–10 kg of their target weight who have stubborn, localised fat — abdomen, love handles, thighs, arms, back or chin — that doesn't respond to diet and exercise.
When it's needed
Suitable year-round. Most clients book treatments 8–12 weeks before holidays, weddings or photo events, allowing time for full results to develop.
Why expert delivery matters
Cavitation is the most studied non-surgical fat reduction technology globally. When delivered correctly, it provides a safer, cheaper, faster alternative to liposuction with no recovery period and excellent results for the right candidate.
The cost of leaving it untreated.
Stubborn pockets of fat resist even the most disciplined diet and training — and waiting them out almost never works.
Risks & escalation
- Subcutaneous fat in stubborn zones is biochemically resistant to lipolysis (fat burning).
- Repeated dieting cycles can lower metabolic rate, making future fat loss harder.
- Loose skin often develops as fat is lost without supportive treatments to tighten tissue.
- Liposuction surgery costs £4,000–£8,000 per area, requires 1–4 weeks recovery and carries surgical risk.
Common mistakes
- Booking cavitation at unqualified salons using outdated, low-power machines.
- Skipping the post-treatment hydration and lymphatic protocols that drive results.
- Assuming cavitation alone will compensate for poor nutrition — it won't.
- Buying home-use cavitation devices that lack the depth (5–8 cm) needed for clinical effect.

Specific outcomes you can expect.
Permanently destroys treated fat cells
Treated cells don't return — only surrounding cells can grow if lifestyle slips.
Targets stubborn zones precisely
Reaches the lower belly, love handles, thighs, arms and back areas that diet alone cannot.
No needles, no surgery, no anaesthetic
Completely non-invasive with no surgical risk.
Zero downtime
Return to work, the gym or normal activities immediately after each session.
Combinable with RF and EMS
Pairs perfectly with skin tightening and muscle sculpting for complete results.
Significantly cheaper than liposuction
Cavitation courses cost a fraction of surgical fat removal — without the recovery.
Everything that goes into expert cavitation.
Cavitation works through specific physical mechanisms. Understanding them is essential to delivering it effectively.
The Science of Cavitation
Low-frequency ultrasound (30–40 kHz) creates rapid pressure changes inside the targeted tissue, forming microscopic cavities (bubbles) within fat cells. The bubbles expand and collapse, rupturing the fat cell membrane. Released triglycerides are processed by the liver and excreted through urine and lymphatic clearance over 7–14 days.
Treatment Depth & Specificity
Cavitation specifically targets adipose (fat) tissue at depths of 5–8 cm. It does not affect muscle, blood vessels, nerves or skin — making it remarkably safe when delivered with quality equipment.
Hydration & Lymphatic Clearance
After a cavitation session, drinking 2–3 litres of water daily for 48–72 hours significantly improves elimination of broken-down fat. We also offer lymphatic drainage massage as an add-on for clients seeking faster, fuller results.
Cavitation vs CoolSculpting (Cryolipolysis)
Cavitation breaks down fat using ultrasound; CoolSculpting freezes it. Cavitation is faster (no 35-minute machine cycle per area), more comfortable (no numbness or bruising), and avoids the rare but documented PAH side effect of cryolipolysis.
Cavitation vs Liposuction
Liposuction removes fat surgically — fast, dramatic, but invasive with recovery, scarring and significant cost (£4,000–£8,000 per area). Cavitation is gradual, non-invasive, has no downtime, and costs a fraction — but is best for moderate, localised fat rather than large volumes.
Treatment Areas We Cover
Lower abdomen, upper abdomen, waist and obliques (love handles), inner and outer thighs, upper arms, bra-line and back rolls, glutes, double chin and jawline.
